Louise Perry, Head of Media
Louise leads Oxfam's media team in Australia, based in Melbourne. The team covers all areas of Oxfam's work and seeks to inform the public about our overseas aid and development programs, our response to humanitarian disasters and our advocacy work on labour rights, indigenous rights, trade and the effect of climate change on developing countries. The team also works to raise awareness about Oxfam shops and fundraising events such as Trailwalker. Prior to working at Oxfam Louise worked as a Media Adviser to the Treasurer of Victoria and prior to that as a journalist at The Australian Newspaper.

Kate Thwaites, International Programs and Emergencies Media Coordinator
Kate is the media co-ordinator for Oxfam’s international projects and emergencies, based in Melbourne. She should be contacted for all media queries relating to Oxfam’s development work overseas, our emergency relief and humanitarian work and our work on the global food crisis. Prior to joining Oxfam Australia Kate was a political journalist with ABC news.

Laurelle Keough, Advocacy and Campaigns Media Coordinator
Laurelle is Oxfam's Advocacy and Campaigns Media Coordinator, based in Melbourne. She should be contacted for all media inquiries relating to Oxfam’s work on climate change, on the Close The Gap Campaign and on our indigenous programs, the work of the Mining Ombudsman, and our work on Fair Trade, global and regional trade agreements and development banks. Prior to joining Oxfam Laurelle was a media adviser with the Red Cross, and previously a TV publicist in London and a print journalist in Queensland.

Sunita Bose, Media and External Relations Coordinator
Sunita is Oxfam's Media Liaison, based in Sydney. She is responsible for the agency's relations with ambassadors and speaking engagements for Oxfam Australia’s Executive Director Andrew Hewett. She should be contacted for all media inquiries relating to Oxfam Unwrapped, Oxfam TRAILWALKER, Oxfam International Youth Partnerships and the Youth Engagement Program. Prior to working at Oxfam, Sunita worked as a media adviser for UNICEF.
