Assunta Pardhe, Chetna
Assunta Pardhe is a founding member of Chetna, a legal aid and consultancy service organisation based in Maharashtra which works to empower marginalised women to defend their rights. Its vision is to achieve an equitable social system where women play an active role in good governance and communal harmony. Oxfam Australia has been working in partnership with Chetna since 2005.

Sachin Warghade, Prayas
Sachin Warghade works for Prayas, a non-government organisation based in Pune which promotes sustainable livelihoods for poor and vulnerable communities and ‘people-centred governance’ in government policy-making and administration. Oxfam Australia has been working in partnership with Prayas since 2000.
